Advocacy

Suircan members are represented in a variety of forums in Tipperary and have been involved in making submissions to numerous strategic plans and planning applications, in particular local authority Part 8. Members are active with the Clonmel town team which advocates for climate friendly policies such as active travel and vacant property enhancement. Suircan members are also represented on the PPN (Public Participation Network) environmental forum and on two of  Tipperary county Council SPCs (Strategic Policy Committee Scheme).
