Tipperary County Council in 2024 began the process of creating the Tipperary Biodiversity Action Plan 2025-2030. To kickstart the discussion on potential objectives and actions for the plan amongst the public, a biodiversity discussion paper was produced.

In 2022 the National transport authority launched a national consultation on proposed cycling routes around Ireland including Tipperary and Clonmel.Suircan through its cycling members provided detailed feedback on the proposed routes, given our local knowledge of the Clonmel streetscape.Cycling connects are now digesting all the national feedback.6 submissions were made for the Tipperary plan, all broadly positive.
