What is Circular Economy?
Think of it as being a system where we try to reuse things over and over again instead of throwing them away. In a circular economy items are kept in circulation through processes like repair, reuse, loaning and refurbishment. This helps tackle issues like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, pollution while reducing the cost of living for consumers.In previous generations in Ireland cloths, toys and other items were shared, repaired and handed down, whereas more recently unnecessary items are bought barely used and then discarded, and on a planet of finite resources that cannot continue indefinitely.We can all make a difference here towards protecting ourselves and future generations, SuirCan is intimately involved numerous circular economy initiatives.
