Town Trees

We care deeply for our town trees and we believe that with good maintenance, the current plane trees are wholly appropriate for the challenging environment of our town’s streetscape where pollution, heat and litter create numerous stresses which plane trees can endure. The thick foliage which the trees create in the summer time visually enhance the streetscape, cool the ambient temperature and would further enhance water retention, were raingardens installed around them.
